Why I haven't been posting!

I started this blog in December of last year to keep the community updated on the lastest happenings of The Star's Newspapers in Education Program. However, I have not posted as much as I would have liked to but I have a good excuse! Her name is Jessie and she was born in January! My husband and I waited a long time(10 years) to have children but she was worth the wait. I returned to work at the end of April and promise to try and be more faithful in blogging!

Distinguished Senior Awards

On Thursday, May 22nd The Star will hold its second annual Distinguished Seniors Awards for Excellence ceremony at Cleveland Community College. We will be honoring 8 students from the 4 Cleveland County High Schools and Cherryville High School in eight categories. The categories are Career-Technical, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Language Arts, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Foreign Language.
